Release and Deployment Expert

As a Release and Deployment Expert at Novartis Healthcare Private Limited in Hyderabad, your role involves effectively communicating project-related tasks and managing a seamless Release Management lifecycle. You will be responsible for automating deployments to Salesforce release environments, building and reviewing branching strategies, and setting up CI processes to automate deployments. Your expertise in source control operations, DevOps pipelines for Salesforce, and various development and testing tools will be crucial in implementing IT infrastructure and ensuring a scalable CI-based delivery mechanism. Key Responsibilities: - Automate deployments to Salesforce release environments using CI & CD tools - Build & review branching strategy and set up CI process for automated deployments - Provide subject matter expertise for source control operations and DevOps pipelines for Salesforce - Implement various development, testing, and automation tools, along with IT infrastructure - Define and manage change control process for development and release readiness criteria - Experience with delivery of Salesforce applications and Salesforce release management - Understand client data models and create a test data plan - Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, VSCode, Checkmarks, Jfrog, Aquasec, SonarQube /Codescan, Mulesoft Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Bash for automating tasks - Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes and tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field preferred At Novartis, our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people's lives.
