Job Description

Position: Relationship Manager Department: POSP Activation & Business Procurement Reporting To: Team Leader / Assistant Manager / Manager Location: Multiple Locations Role Overview: The Relationship Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and activating Point of Sale Persons (POSPs) to sell insurance products, ensuring that they are fully equipped and supported throughout the process. This role ensures that POSPs are continuously engaged, educated, and productive, ultimately driving insurance sales. Key Responsibilities: 1. POSP Recruitment, Completion of Onboarding Process & Activation: Find suitable prospects from the Insurance & Sales professions to recruit as POS Partners. Convince and recruit POS partners to join the PolicyBoss platform. Assist recruited POSPs in completing the onboarding process, including downloading the PolicyBoss Pro App , registration, and IRDAI certification. Ensure POSPs are activated by syncing contacts and completing mandatory exams. Provide initial support and training to POSPs, enabling them to begin selling insurance immediately. 2. Sales & Business Development: Drive insurance sales through activated POSPs. Motivate POSPs to generate leads and close sales. Educate POSPs on the range of insurance products offered (Life, Health, Motor, and Non-Motor Insurance). Monitor and track POSP sales performance to ensure targets are met and exceeded. 3. Training & Support: Provide training on product features, sales techniques, and digital tools (PolicyBoss Pro App & Portal). Ensure POSPs understand commission structures, Quick Pay, InstaPay, and other unique features of the platform. Address POSPs' queries related to policies, claims, and other customer concerns. 4. Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with POSPs to enhance retention and maximize productivity. Offer continuous guidance and support to ensure POSPs remain motivated and engaged. Actively resolve any grievances from POSPs related to policy issuance, commission payouts, or tech support. 5. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track the performance of POSPs and ensure they achieve required sales targets. Maintain detailed records of activations, business procurement, and POSP engagement. Provide regular performance reports to team leaders or managers. Key Skills & Competencies: Sales & Relationship Building: Ability to motivate and manage multiple POSPs. Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of various insurance products and IRDAI guidelines. Communication & Training: Strong verbal and written communication skills to train and engage POSPs. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable in using: Windows / Ubuntu Operating System. MS Excel / Google Sheets. Email exchange. Full-featured use of WhatsApp Business application. Social Media applications (Instagram, Facebook, & LinkedIn). Should learn PolicyBoss CRN, Bitrix24, Horizon, PolicyBoss, Landmark ERP, SW, PBNext, PolicyBoss Pro app, and other portals and apps. Target-Driven: Ability to achieve monthly activation and business procurement goals. Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to address POSP and customer concerns effectively. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate (Any Stream); MBA preferred. Experience: 1-3 years in insurance sales, banking, fintech, or a similar domain. Certification: IRDAI POSP certification (preferred but not mandatory). Compensation & Benefits: Fixed salary as per company norms.
