Role & Responsibilities - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client/third party contracts. - Liaising with internal stakeholders, business teams, and senior management to resolve complex contractual issues promptly. - Providing clarifications on legal concerns to senior management and business teams by gaining a deep understanding of contractual/legal concepts. - Working within the legal and risk framework of the firm to provide quick solutions for smooth closure of contracts/agreements. - Negotiating with clients/third parties on contractual matters and escalating critical issues internally as needed. - Updating SOP, training junior team members, and supporting process simplification, automation, and innovation within the team. - Maintaining accuracy in tasks to avoid undue risk exposure for the Firm. - Acting in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk procedures while remaining independent and objective at all times. THE INDIVIDUAL The ideal candidate for this role should have proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with legal and other productive technology tools. Strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are essential. You should be self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrate good written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
