As a Program Manager for water purifier products, you will be responsible for leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to launch. You will own project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics throughout the product lifecycle. It will be your duty to establish clear program governance, conduct stage-gate reviews, and implement risk management frameworks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing will be a key aspect of your role. You will align stakeholders to meet product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. Engaging with suppliers and vendors during development and ramp-up phases will also be part of your responsibilities. Supervising prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing for performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance will be essential. Additionally, you will lead issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases. Preparing for production readiness with manufacturing teams, optimizing costs through value engineering, and ensuring a smooth handover to operations post-launch are critical tasks. Continuous improvement of NPI processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development will also fall under your purview. Monitoring post-launch performance metrics and driving iterative improvements will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. Key skills and competencies required for this role include strong program management abilities, a deep understanding of appliance product development (preferably in water purifiers/home appliances/consumer electronics), knowledge of various components and processes, hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, and regulatory certifications, as well as excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities are also essential. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the Native water purifier product line within a fast-growing organization. You will have a high-impact position with visibility across leadership and various cross-functional teams.
