Role & responsibilities • Coordinate and oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. • Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and assisting in maintaining optimal stock levels to support business needs. • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. • Track shipments, update relevant stakeholders on delivery status, and resolve any shipping or delivery issues. • Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipment logs, inventory records, and transaction histories. • Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and recommending process improvements. • Mentor and train junior logistics associates, providing guidance and support. • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety guidelines. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of logistics reports and metrics.
