You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing both manual and automated test suites as the product matures. Your role will involve working on testing both mobile and web applications to ensure robust quality assurance. It is essential to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration around quality practices within the team. You will define, communicate, and educate the team on best practices for test-driven development (TDD), testing methodologies, and QA processes. Additionally, conducting API testing using tools like Postman to ensure API reliability and performance will be part of your responsibilities. You will also perform load and stress testing to evaluate system performance under high volume. Driving workflow improvements, including continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) and release management, will be crucial. Writing detailed, high-quality test cases, generating bug, issue, and regression reports for encountered issues, and creating root cause analysis reports for customer-impacting issues are key tasks. Furthermore, you will document testing practices, procedures, and work processes meticulously. Hands-on experience scripting automation using Java and Selenium is optional but beneficial for this role. In terms of qualifications, you are expected to have a strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle. Proven experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated builds and deployments are required. Experience with load and stress testing methodologies, the ability to write automation scripts, and working effectively in an agile environment are essential. Excellent communication skills for team education and documentation purposes are also necessary.
