Job Description

As a Regional Service Manager in the Customer Service Department of a Data Center, you will be responsible for managing service delivery for large Data Centre Customers, overseeing the execution of Project Execution & management for large Mega-Watt UPS projects. Your role will involve providing 24/7 Service Delivery Management for Customer complaints, offering real-time remote Tech Support, and allocating On-Site activities with Field Technicians to ensure timely execution in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will be involved in various aspects of Installation & Commissioning, including conducting pre-installation site audits, preparing sites for installation, installing Delta supplied equipment, performing System Commissioning & Integration, and conducting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as per Customer agreement requirements. In addition, your responsibilities will encompass planning and executing large Installation & commissioning projects or a large number of sites across the assigned region, as well as managing System Modification & upgrades through external Project Vendors while maintaining quality, schedule, and cost. You will also be tasked with managing external Service Vendors, from selection and engagement to scope definition, commercial negotiation, and contract finalization with the legal department. This includes overseeing work planning, allocation, execution of work flow, verification of Work Completion Certificates (WCC), Service Invoice from Vendors, and ensuring timely booking of vendor invoices as per Delta finance rules and guidelines. Your role will involve managing Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Service Inventory Planning & Management, and providing feedback on product operation to R&D/Factory. You will report product performance, design & quality issues to R&D, Production, Application engineering, and ensure timely resolution & execution of on-site engineering changes (ECN) as per QA. Resource Planning & Skill Development will also fall under your purview, including resource planning, selection, need-based training & development, maintaining team productivity, effectiveness & motivation, and identifying training needs. You will also provide training to Customers/Users as required. Furthermore, you will be responsible for achieving service revenue through service contracts (AMC), On-Site Repairing, Installation & Commissioning, and value-add products sale such as Batteries & services.,
