Regional Merchandiser - Diamond

Role Overview: As a Regional Merchandiser - Diamond at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, your main responsibility will be to implement the merchandising strategy for Diamond Jewelry in alignment with the overall business strategy. You will play a crucial role in achieving growth and profitability by providing inputs on the creation of the NPI calendar. Additionally, you will ensure the timely launch of new and improved products in line with the latest trends and customer preferences. Vendor identification, shortlisting products for product meets, screening designs, and evaluating products from vendors will also be part of your role. You will classify and tag new Diamond products into the appropriate design family and hierarchy, develop the planogram, and oversee the creation of assortment mix for the Diamond category. Monitoring inventory levels in stores and identifying dead stock to be returned to vendors to minimize losses will also be key responsibilities.
