As a Regional Merchandiser - Diamond at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, your role involves implementing the merchandising strategy for Diamond Jewelry in alignment with the overall business strategy. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing inputs on the creation of the NPI (New Product Introduction) calendar. - Ensuring the timely launch of new and improved products in line with the latest trends and customer preferences. - Identifying and shortlisting vendors for product meets. - Screening designs and evaluating products from vendors. - Classifying and tagging new Diamond products into the appropriate design family and hierarchy. - Developing the planogram and overseeing the creation of assortment mix for the Diamond category. - Monitoring inventory and inventory holding in stores for Diamond category to maintain optimal levels. - Identifying dead stock to be returned to vendors in order to minimize MGD losses.
