As a strategic and experienced Project Management Director at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading capital project execution in the Americas region. Your role will involve overseeing the successful delivery of real estate and infrastructure projects, including office, lab, manufacturing, and warehouse spaces. You will lead a team of project managers and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with Honeywell's business objectives, EHS standards, and sustainability goals. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the execution of real estate capital projects across North, Central, and South America from concept through completion. You will develop project delivery strategies, oversee planning, design, procurement, and construction, and manage a team of internal/external project managers and external consultants/vendors to deliver complex projects effectively. Collaboration with various stakeholders such as business units, site leaders, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and EHS will be crucial to ensure alignment. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects comply with Honeywell standards, regional codes, and sustainability targets. Providing executive reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics on project pipeline, spend, risks, and KPIs will be part of your role. You will also drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodology, risk management, and supplier performance. Managing annual budgets and long-range capital planning in coordination with the Global Real Estate team will be essential. To excel in this role, you must have 15+ years of experience in project management within real estate, facilities, or industrial capital projects, along with 5+ years in a regional or global leadership role managing multi-site project portfolios. Strong knowledge of real estate development, design and construction processes, permitting, and regional codes in the Americas is required. Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and vendor performance is crucial. Proficiency in project controls, scheduling software, and reporting tools such as MS Project, Primavera, and Power BI is necessary. Ability to travel up to 20-30% across the Americas is also a requirement. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, as well as a Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Real Estate. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or similar are valued. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, along with familiarity with green building standards like LEED, WELL, or other similar standards.
