JD for Sales Engineer: Positioning, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationship. Responsible for identifying potential clients, cold calling, meeting with clients, negotiating with them to convert opportunities into orders. Will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of sales goals and objectives for direct sales area. Identify potential customers and generate sales plans to address various accounts. Maintain excellent relationships with customers or agents. Carry out Account review periodically to supply market feedback on products, accounts and competitive trends. Provide technical advice to current and potential customers regarding specific application of company products to meet customer needs Attend trade shows, seminars, and training sessions to keep informed of current trends in market and competitive products and activities. Ability to fully demonstrate the complete line of all Products to customers. Prepare quotes and correspondence, submits forecasts and monthly reports along with other information as requested. Make recommendations concerning product line revisions, pricing changes and sales policy changes. Assist with development of sales/marketing plan for territory and implements plan to meet sales quota by product category and dollar volume. Provide support to order processing and logistics efforts. Provide support to collection and credit control of customer base. Adopt and update CRM and other management software as required. Willingness to travel within an assigned geographic region. Job description Join us as our Sales Engineer and Service Engineer for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for Heat Exchangers, Decanters, High Speed Separators, Pumps, Chillers, Mechanical Seals, Gland Packings, Industrial Coatings, IL/MRO Roles and Responsibility : 1. Search for new clients who might benefit from Alfa Laval products or services, Chesterton Products and maximise client potential in designated regions. 2. Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements. 3. Generating new customers through calls / emails from the existing /new database. Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery. 4. Determines improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. 5. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education. 6. Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required. 7. Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects. 8. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. 9. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs. 10. Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends 11. Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our supplied systems are operating as specified. 12. Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our supplied systems and associated equipment. 13. Travel to client sites in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Who you are? As a Sales and Service Engineer for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, you would be responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding sales and service of Alfa Laval and Chesterton products in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh responsibility (e.g. process Key Accounts, OEMs and EPC contractor business for the industries like Petrochemical, Power, Chemical, Mining, Metal, Pulp & Paper, Refineries, etc.) This position is about demonstrating a higher level of competence, able to act independently and take on additional responsibilities. Your strong business acumen and strategic approach will guide the organisation to reach to the next level and deliver excellent customer experience and timely delivery. You are value driven person with high level of integrity. Your strong and courageous mindset is a key. What you can be? ITI/Diploma/Engineer in Mechanical/Chemical is a must for service engineers. BBA/MBA is prefered for sales engineer Minimum 2-5 year of experience in related industry which includes Technical Sales, B2B, OEMs, EPC Contractors Handling. Must have worked in Telangana for atleast 3 years in sales within last 5 years (This is strongly recommended) Strong communication skills (both written and oral) Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse terrains Must be able to converse in local language
