The ideal candidates will have a strong background in market data engineering, proficiency in Windows environments, and excellent communication skills. The roles involve covering Asia, and Amers regions, with a focus on rotating shifts and occasional weekend work. Responsibilities: 1. Market Data Application Support: o Provide comprehensive support for market data applications, including Bloomberg applications, in a banking environment. o Handle issues related to market data infrastructure, applications, and effectively address user pressures. 2. Region Coverage: o Cover Asia regions, ensuring seamless support for market data applications in the specified time zones. o Collaborate with a team of engineers to collectively cover the Amers region. 3. Rotating Shifts and Weekend Work: o Be open to rotating shifts to accommodate different time zones. o Occasional weekend work may be required for software deployment or testing, with compensation provided. 4. Application Environment: o Work within a Windows environment, supporting the front end of applications used by over 200 users. 5. Communication and Collaboration: o Demonstrate strong soft skills in communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. o Collaborate with other teams, discuss issues, and escalate problems to vendors when necessary. 6. Remote Work: o The role allows for remote work, providing flexibility for candidates in various locations within specified countries. Qualifications: Proven experience in market data support, preferably within the financial industry. • Should be proficient in - TREP / RTDS. - DACS - Linux - Networking (TCP) • Proficiency in Windows environments and familiarity with Bloomberg applications. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Flexibility to adapt to rotating shifts and occasional weekend work.
