The individual would work with worldwide refineries while based in Gurgaon. This is a data scientist role in which the person will provide online technical support (troubleshooting) to global refineries, with shift times determined by the refinery's location. It could be the early morning, late night, day, or evening shift. (Rotational shift). Proactively communicate insights from trends, establish patterns, diagnostic investigations, and solutions to prevent future issues. Ensure upkeep of all solutions by troubleshooting the PM/PTA/PRA/POA/Benchmarking /Future Solutions on time to ensure high on-screen availability of the running solutions Apply data mining to handle unstructured data to derive technical insights. Perform descriptive and inferential statistics to summarize datasets. Derive problem statement from ambiguous data, create a hypothesis, use analytics technology and tools to test hypothesis and form conclusions Analysis of large amounts of historical data, determining suitability for modeling, data clean-up and filtering, pattern identification, and variable creation, applying automated predictive analytics. The focus is to support products, systems, and solutions through designing and developing pipelines. Work with the team to innovate - next-generation BIG DATA monitoring tools (Analytics using exception-based /Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) and build an operation dashboard for the GSC's sustainability & efficient operation. Align with the Intention of the LST Business and ensure collective commitment to the GSC's Key results. Job Requirements Background The scope of work is to support Engineering Studies that may occur at any phase of the project development or life of an asset. During the EPC phase, the engineering studies are required in conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and detail engineering. During equipment operation phase, the typical studies involve integrity, fit-for-service (FFS), etc. Expectations 1. Mechanical engineer with working experience in Upstream (Offshore_Topside & Onshore) & Downstream (Refining, Petrochemicals & Polymers) 2. Engineer shall be competent to review P&ID, Lists (line, equipment, tie-in, Material take-off (MTO)) 3. Engineer shall be able to review of piping material classes, piping isometrics & piping support drawings 4. Engineer shall be able to review of project particular specifications, with potential gap analysis, against the agreed Project referential 5. Engineer shall have knowledge on Integrity assessment of piping and develop Risk Matrix along with Risk Mitigation Strategies 6. Engineer shall be competent to perform RBI studies to optimize the maintenance and business expenditure, incurred for assuring piping integrity 7.
