This role shall be responsible to ensure quality, consistency and standardization in digital project execution in organized and scalable manner to aid the steep growth of digital offerings and tools. The Digital Exec Tools Specialist will promote a strong reliability culture by partnering with software engineering, security, and architecture to solve operational problems. The Digital Execution Tools Specialist role is part of UOP Digital Services Execution team and reports to Director- Digital Services Execution. Key Responsibilities Will work closely with Digital Services engineering teams to develop and implement tools and processes for scalable, reliable and quality digital tools/solutions. Collaborate with digital development/engineering during design, testing, debugging and implementation. Maintaining templates, version control, drive the standardization in tools, applications MVO Deployment Implement automation in the infrastructure, testing, and deployment processes Own and develop additional technology artefacts (templates, tools, guides, checklists etc..) after handover from development. Support execution teams on day-to-day basis for given tool/service. Coordinate with Technical Specialist to create PM/PTA/digital tools development stories. Ensure consistency and standardization of tools application. Train/mentor new engineers. WE VALUE Expertise in Process Simulations - Hysys/UniSim or Aspen Plus modelling experience Expert level knowledge of refinery equipment Able to go through the python or .net coding to highlight or resolve the issues Has understanding on Data science and ML programming Ability to identify areas of digital services execution work process which can be automated and collaborate with digital execution/engineering teams to develop the tools for automation Able to test software tools Exposure to various UOP technologies Working knowledge of UOP digital services Demonstrated problem-solving skills Ability to communicate in a clear and succinct manner YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor s degree in engineering. Chemical or Computer engineering is preferred. 8+ years in tools development in Refining/Petrochemical preferably on UOP technologies with strong foundation of various tools used in this industry.
