Job Title: AWS Redshift Expert Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Redshift Expert to join our data engineering team. This role is pivotal in supporting our AWS ProServe engagements and internal analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Redshift architecture, performance tuning, and integration with BI tools like Looker. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AWS tech leads, data analysts, and client stakeholders, to ensure the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage AWS Redshift clusters for large-scale data warehousing. - Optimize query performance using DISTKEY, SORTKEY, and materialized views. - Work with BI teams to enhance LookML models and boost dashboard performance. - Conduct performance benchmarking and establish automated alerts for performance degradation. - Lead data migration projects from platforms like BigQuery to Redshift. - Ensure the implementation of data security, compliance, and backup/recovery protocols. - Provide technical leadership in client interviews and solution discussions. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in AWS Redshift. - Hands-on expertise in Redshift performance tuning and workload management. - Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, and semantic layer optimization. - Proficiency in cloud architecture and AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal leadership.,
