RedHat Linux/Middleware Admin

As an IT professional with experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and middleware administration, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining RHEL servers in production and DR environments. Your key responsibilities will include installing, patching, tuning, and upgrading RHEL, as well as administering middleware platforms such as JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat. You will also be expected to automate routine tasks and deployments using Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts to improve repeatability and reduce MTTR. Monitoring system and middleware health, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing security best practices will be crucial aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, harden, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in production and DR environments - Administer middleware platforms including JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat - Automate routine tasks and deployments using Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts - Monitor system and middleware health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement security best practices - Collaborate with application, network, and storage teams on capacity planning, performance tuning, and release activities Qualifications Required: - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) - JBoss EAP - Apache Tomcat - Ansible - Bash scripting - SELinux The company operates in the IT Services & Systems Integration sector, delivering enterprise infrastructure, managed services, and application platform support to large-scale customers.
