Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Business Development with strong domain knowledge in the plastics industry (e.g., polymer resins, packaging, engineering plastics, recycling, or plastic processing). The role involves developing and executing strategies to drive growth, expand market presence, and establish long-term partnerships in domestic markets. Key Accountabilities Role Descriptors Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals. Identify new markets, applications, and product opportunities within the plastics sector. Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Build and nurture relationships with key customers, OEMs, suppliers, and channel partners. Drive expansion into new geographies and market segments (e.g., automotive, FMCG, packaging, construction). Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events. Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals. Collaborate with product and technical teams to develop customer-centric solutions. Negotiate large-scale contracts, pricing agreements, and strategic alliances. Work with R&D and manufacturing teams to introduce innovative plastic materials or products. Support the launch of sustainable and recyclable plastic solutions in line with global trends. Mentor and lead a team of sales, marketing, and technical staff. Drive cross-functional collaboration between business units and departments. Knowledge, Experience and Skills Qualification Bachelor's or Masters degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering , or a related field. MBA is a plus. Experience 20+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the plastics industry . In-depth knowledge of plastic materials (e.g., PP, PE, PET, PVC, engineering plastics), processing methods, and applications. Proven track record of expanding market share and driving revenue growth. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Global exposure and experience with B2B sales or export markets is desirable. Familiarity with sustainability practices and circular economy in plastics is a strong advantage. Supports revenue target achievement and ensures timely collection of sales-related payments in coordination with the finance and sales teams. Leads and supports marketing and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and drive business growth. Senior System Analyst is operations support system (OSS) specialist often work under Operations Manager and perform any duties that are needed for smooth business operations . RAPIN Handling RAP CDR correction/Recycling AA14/OpData Handling Ensure DCH configurations are up to date: - Industry Configuration - Local/TAP currency set up - MCCMNC - IAC and CC/NDC - Tax configuration BID Management including emergency BID announcement as per TD38 CDR handling to modify or filter as per requirement Agreement setup as per CLL (Voice/SMS, data, CAMEL) OIR handling and loading into the DCH on migration date Agreement management for NRTRDE partners of our customers Halted NRT files New Customer implementation NRTRDE Monitoring NRTRDE ACR check Wholesale rerating set up. New account creation/access rights/password reset. MVNO configuration. User application access review Process documentation. Requirements Competency Profile Good verbal and written communication skills in English 3-5 years of experience with Engineering/telecommunication/IT profile Having understanding of UNIX,FTP/SFTP. Demonstrate problem-solving ability. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. General understanding of Telecommunications and wireless industries and technologies. Ability to make sound decisions. Strong written communication skills Excellent follow up skills. Ability to formulate and clearly communicate ideas Active, self-motivated and well-organized personality Capability to understand technical standards (TD.57) and IT related procedures, tariff plans and the RAP process Ability to work with a trouble ticketing system Duties are performed under minimal supervision.
