Key Responsibilities: Debt Collection: Contact customers or clients with overdue payments to negotiate and collect outstanding debts in a professional and respectful manner. Payment Arrangements: Work with debtors to establish repayment plans, settlements, or alternative payment solutions that align with their financial circumstances. Account Review: Review and analyze debtor accounts to assess their financial status, payment history, and creditworthiness. Communication: Maintain regular communication with debtors through phone calls, emails, or letters to encourage timely payments and resolve payment disputes. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all collection activities, payment arrangements, and debtor interactions. Compliance: Ensure collection practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including fair debt collection practices. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on collection activities, outstanding debts, and recovery rates. Escalation: Escalate accounts to legal or higher management when necessary, following established protocols. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to debtors by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing information about payment options. Reconciliation: Reconcile payments received with outstanding balances, updating records accordingly.
