Responsibilities for the Studio Manager Lead a team of Stylists to ensure sales goals are met Actively contribute to the teams growth by leading by example and communicating effectively Create Collaborative relationships with the Buying team, providing product and assortment feedback Ensure Stylists build relationships with customers that translate into repeat customer visits Act as a mentor and point person by providing guidance, feedback & demonstrating problem solving abilities Train & motivate Stylists through on-going programs in sales, customer service and product knowledge Recruit interview & select candidates to build a pipeline Filling in where needed as business demands Meet studio sales goals and key metrics Analyze and grow the business Qualifications for studio manager Professional artist or fabricator who has the technical and practical skills necessary to manage and execute art installations outdoors 1-2 years experience in office administration (at another design or architecture firm is preferred) Solid computer skills (MS Office, knowledge of QuickBooks a plus) Knowledge of the creative/design field is mandatory Great time management skills, and ability to work well independently
