The Reconciliation Analyst role requires a good knowledge of reconciliation processes, procedures, and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. You are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. This role has a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. In this role, you're expected to: - Advise reconciliation Specialist to prepare/organize reconciliations and proof. - Ensure accuracy of reports and reconciliations. - Carry out detailed proof reviews. - Investigate reconciliation differences and prepare reports, both written and verbal, on the differences. - Apply a good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience - Minimum 3-4 years of reconciliation application related experience - Familiarity with reconciliation tool - Knowledge of MS Excel/MS Access.
