The role based in Gurgaon involves being a part of the data science team, collaborating closely with business analysts and the technology team to deliver the Data Science aspect of projects and products. Your responsibilities will include conducting data exploration to solve specific problems, researching suitable methods for solutions, setting up machine learning processes tailored to project requirements, contributing to the development of a Data Science platform, coding solutions, explaining concepts to clients, integrating Data Science solutions with technology, as well as data cleaning and structuring. The nature of your work will vary based on the project stage, available engagements, and your individual skill set. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 2-6 years of experience in Machine Learning, including deep learning methods, algorithm design, analysis, development, and performance enhancement. You must possess a strong grasp of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning techniques, clustering, classification, regression, and recommendation algorithms. Familiarity with Time Series Analysis, optimization techniques, and working with solvers for MILP and global optimization is essential. You are expected to have practical experience in exploratory data analysis, feature design and development, as well as applying and evaluating ML algorithms in predictive modeling scenarios across various industries such as FMCG, Media, E-commerce, and Hospitality. Proficiency in Python is a must, and familiarity with PySpark is advantageous. You should be able to write production-ready code with reusable components, adhere to coding standards and best practices, design data science architectures for solution repeatability, manage the entire cycle from data preparation to client presentations, and work comfortably on AWS, including managing data science servers.
