Job Summary:We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for managing daily operations at the reception, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a warm and approachable demeanor, and a proactive attitude to handle administrative tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Greet and Assist Patients: Welcome patients warmly, answer queries, and make them feel comfortable.Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage and coordinate appointment scheduling for optimal clinic workflow.Patient Records Management: Accurately maintain and update patient records in our digital database, ensuring confidentiality.Phone and Email Management: Handle incoming calls and emails, answer patient inquiries, and confirm or reschedule appointments as necessary.Payment Processing: Collect payments, issue receipts, and assist patients with insurance queries.Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and inventory management of office supplies.Clinic Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and inviting. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or administrative roles are a plus. Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with fluency in English and local languages.Customer Service Orientation: Friendly, patient-centered approach with a strong ability to handle patient concerns or queries.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers, office software (Microsoft Office, email), and experience with patient management software is an advantage.Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and punctuality are essential.Professional Appearance and Conduct: Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold Smita Dental Clinic’s standards of integrity and patient respect.
