Receptionist cum Package Handler

Job Role Summary
We are hiring a responsible and energetic Receptionist cum Package Handler to manage front-desk activities and handle food order packaging and dispatch for online and takeaway orders. The role requires coordination with kitchen staff, customers, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk / Reception Duties

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a polite manner
• Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries
• Take takeaway and phone orders accurately
• Coordinate order status with kitchen staff

Order Handling & Dispatch

• Monitor incoming food orders from online ordering systems
• Verify order details such as items, quantity, and special instructions
• Update order readiness status for delivery personnel

Packaging Responsibilities

• Pack food items hygienically using approved packaging materials
• Label packages correctly with order details
• Ensure timely handover of packed orders for dispatch
• Maintain stock of packaging materials (boxes, bags, cutlery)

General & Support Duties

• Keep the reception and packing area clean and organized
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Support kitchen and counter staff during peak hours when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to operate a smartphone or tablet
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Prior experience in restaurant or food outlet preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹8,801.67 - ₹18,540.96 per month
