As a candidate for the position at REC flow technologies LLP in Belgaum, you will be responsible for various planning procedures to meet company standards. This includes tasks such as preparing shipment pre-planning and calendar, seeking approval from senior manager operations, and submitting to the marketing department. Your role will also involve preparing the foundry order status by the 25th of every month and submitting it to the Purchase department within two days after approval from management. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining material control by keeping inventory at an optimal level to minimize costs while ensuring customer service levels are met. Your responsibilities will include taking effective actions in problematic areas to avoid shipment delays, communicating any delays to customers after approval, responding promptly to customer urgency and feedback from the marketing department, and giving priority to critical vendors to ensure timely casting fulfillment to machining suppliers. You will be expected to evaluate machining suppliers" performance periodically, report to management, monitor tooling, gauges, and drawings with suppliers, and coordinate with all departments for planned shipments. Calculating shipment performance monthly and taking corrective actions to improve deliveries will be crucial. You will also assist the supply chain team in identifying machining suppliers" requirements, assessing risks associated with departments affecting deliveries, and updating upper management accordingly.
