The Manufacturing Operator II Coater position involves operating, cleaning, disassembling, and reassembling coating equipment to create coating solutions following relevant cGMPs and SOPs. The role includes rotating to other Manufacturing or Packaging departments based on business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly clean tablet coating equipment and work area between batches to prevent cross-contamination and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Set up, calibrate, and operate tablet coating machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records. - Conduct visual inspections of coated tablets to identify defects or irregularities in coating quality. - Monitor tablet coating process parameters like temperature, airflow, and coating solution flow rate to ensure consistent and high-quality coated tablets. - Utilize computers for reading, reviewing, and training on SOPs. - Foster positive relationships across all organizational levels and demonstrate teamwork consistently. - Work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively in a group setting. - Adhere to Piramal Pharma Solutions Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures. - Perform additional duties as assigned or as necessitated by business needs. Qualifications: - Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and moving drums weighing up to 300 lbs occasionally. Must work safely with heavy equipment and exhibit regular standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, reaching, communication, and good vision. May need to wear Personal Protection Equipment. - Non-allergic to chemicals or biosubstances encountered in laboratory or production settings. Position Requirements: - Education: High school diploma or GED is mandatory. - Equivalent education, training, and experience will also be considered. - Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing is essential, with 3-5 years of related field experience.
