Armada is an edge computing startup dedicated to providing computing infrastructure to remote areas and locations with limited connectivity and cloud infrastructure. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by deploying advanced technology infrastructure rapidly. To further this mission, we are seeking brilliant minds to join our team. As a Mobile (React Native) Developer at Armada, you will play a crucial role in developing a high-performance, scalable mobile application. Your responsibilities will include working on our React Native CLI-based application, contributing to our custom component library, and collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize a React Native CLI-based application for iOS and Android platforms. - Design and implement reusable UI components using React Native Paper. - Integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality. - Ensure app performance, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using TypeScript. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. - Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal app performance and stability. - Implement push notification systems using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). - Write unit and integration tests using React Native Testing Library and Jest. - Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews. Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2+ years specializing in React Native CLI-based development. - Proficiency in state management solutions like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil. - Strong expertise in custom UI component development with a focus on mobile app performance optimization. - Hands-on experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies. - Experience with mobile animations using libraries such as Reanimated, Gesture Handler, or Lottie. - Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes and tools like Fastlane is a plus. - Knowledge of React Native internals and native bridging (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin) is a plus.
