About Us We are a leading PCB recycling facility specializing in the recovery of precious metals from electronic waste. Our state-of-the-art facility employs advanced hydrometallurgical processes to extract valuable metals including gold, silver, platinum, and palladium from printed circuit boards and electronic components. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to join our production team and oversee precious metals recovery operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and optimizing chemical processes, particularly nitric acid dissolution and aqua regia treatment processes, to maximize metal recovery rates while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Operations Execute and monitor nitric acid (HNO3) and aqua regia chemical processes for precious metals extraction Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment including reactors, filtration systems, and separation units Control process parameters including temperature, pH, concentration, and reaction time Conduct regular sampling and coordinate with laboratory for chemical analysis Process Optimization Analyze process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective measures Maintain detailed process logs and prepare regular production reports Recommend modifications to improve recovery rates and reduce chemical consumption Safety & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols when handling corrosive chemicals Implement and maintain environmental compliance standards Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments Train and supervise junior technicians on safe handling procedures Quality Control Monitor product quality and purity standards Implement quality control measures throughout the recovery process Coordinate with quality assurance team for final product verification Required QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field Minimum 1-2 years of experience in chemical processing industries Prior experience with acid processing, hydrometallurgy, or metals recovery preferred Experience in recycling or waste management industry is an advantage Technical Skills Strong understanding of chemical reaction principles and thermodynamics Knowledge of acid handling and corrosive chemical processes Familiarity with HNO3 and aqua regia applications Understanding of separation and purification techniques Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory procedures Safety & Regulatory Knowledge Thorough knowledge of chemical safety protocols and MSDS Understanding of environmental regulations related to chemical processing Knowledge of waste treatment and disposal procedures Familiarity with Indian pollution control norms Preferred Qualifications Experience in precious metals refining or electroplating industries Knowledge of electronic waste processing Familiarity with Indian Factory Act and environmental regulations Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Good communication skills in Hindi, Gujarati, and English Willingness to work in shifts if required What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Health insurance and medical benefits Annual performance bonus Professional development opportunities Safe and modern working environment Transportation allowance Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Commuter assistance Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/09/2025
