The Assistant Manager - Instrumentation position at Bunge, located in Kandla, Gujarat, India, reports to the Assistant General Manager - Maintenance. The primary role of this position is to conduct planned and unplanned maintenance and repair activities on various instrumentation and control systems within the plant. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of instrumentation engineering deliverables, such as specifications, instrument datasheets, and logic diagrams. - Conduct sizing calculations for control valves, flow meters, and pneumatic & hydraulic power systems. - Review engineering drawings including instrument location plans, cable & JB schedules, cable routing layouts, and instrument installation details. - Evaluate instrumentation and control systems vendors offers, prepare vendor technical clarifications, and technical bid evaluation reports. - Draft and present formal technical documents, reports, and testing results for approval. - Develop technical manuals for instrumentation. - Provide training on devices to employees and/or customers. - Ensure work safety by following proper work permits, LOTO procedures, and communicate with shift in charge. - Inspect critical interlocks by P&ID to ensure 100% functionality. - Troubleshoot instrumentation issues by reading and understanding manuals and wiring diagrams. - Maintain instrument and workplace hygiene, adhere to work standards like 5s, kaizen, and identify root causes of breakdowns. Requirements: - Knowledge of Bunge's business, structure, and strategy to develop innovative solutions. - Ability to build partnerships, influence others, foster talent, and coach for growth. - Drive results through high standards, focus on priorities, organization, and preparing for change. - Technical expertise in transformer handling, panel board operations, distribution procedures, DG sets, preventive maintenance of electrical & instrumentation equipment, cabling, fittings, operational procedures, and automation. Education & Experience: - 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field of instrumentation.
