SAP Basis Consultant Job Description : Consultants manage SAP installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and critical issue resolutions. Key Responsibilities: Perform system installation, upgrade, and migrations (SWPM, SUM) Tune system performance (ST02, ST04, ST06, DBACOCKPIT) Handle S/4HANA conversions, HANA DB admin and troubleshooting Implement high availability and disaster recovery Root cause analysis for ABAP dumps, RFC errors, and performance issues Manage system refresh, system copy and upgrade projects Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA, Linux, and backup tools Proficiency in performance tuning, kernel upgrade, DB admin Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and technical documentation skills Eligibility Criteria: 4- 8 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience Certified in SAP NetWeaver or HANA (preferred) Experience in handling large-scale SAP landscapes
