Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Component

  Architecture:

  Architect and maintain a scalable, reusable

  React Component Library

  . You ensure that our UI codebase remains modular and clean as the product grows.

• Real-Time Visualization:

  Build high-performance interfaces that handle live data updates via

  GraphQL

  Subscriptions and Pub/Sub

  . You make sure the dashboard updates instantly without freezing the browser.

• Performance Engineering:

  Diagnose and fix rendering bottlenecks. You understand how the React Virtual DOM works and how to optimize large datasets using virtualization.

• State Management Strategy:

  Design robust state management flows using

  React Hooks, Context API, or Apollo Client

  . You ensure data consistency across complex multi-step workflows.

• Tech Stewardship:

  Research and introduce new tools (e.g., migrating to Vite, implementing new CSS-in-JS patterns). You set the standard for code quality and mentor junior developers.

• Full Stack Integration:

  Work closely with the Backend team to design efficient

  GraphQL

  schemas

  that reduce over-fetching and improve frontend performance.

Skills & Requirements

• React Mastery:

  Deep expertise in

  React.js (Hooks pattern)

  . Class components are history to you.

• Type Safety:

  Strong proficiency in

  TypeScript

  . You rely on types to catch bugs before they hit production.

• Data Layer:

  Expert knowledge of

  Apollo Client and

  GraphQL

  . You know how to manage local cache and remote data seamlessy.

• Styling:

  Proficiency with

  Styled Components

  or modern CSS-in-JS libraries. You can implement complex designs pixel-perfectly.

• Build Tooling:

  Experience configuring

  Webpack or Vite

  . You know how to code-split and tree-shake your bundle.

• Auth Workflows:

  Experience implementing secure authentication using

  JWT and OAuth2

  .

Brownie Points

• DevOps Awareness:

  Knowledge of

  Docker and Kubernetes

  . You can troubleshoot a frontend container.

• Mobile Flexibility:

  Understanding of

  React Native

  (since we have mobile apps, being able to share logic is a plus).

• Visualization:

  Experience with D3.js, Recharts, or mapping libraries.
