You will be joining a global team of over 4000 members focused on Digital Modernization, working to enhance and optimize the purchase experience for our clients. As a Staff or Architect Back End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of full stack and backend engineers, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in Java and design skills will be key to your success in this role. Your responsibilities will include leading technical requirements analysis, design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide. You will be writing high-quality code, championing coding standards, and influencing the technical direction of the engineering team. Working closely with Product Managers, you will contribute to designing new features and ensuring the delivery of testable and maintainable solutions. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in large-scale distributed ecommerce systems and possess an expert understanding of Java, databases, and messaging technologies. Your enthusiasm for continuous improvement, clear communication skills, and ability to motivate team members will be essential. Familiarity with Reactive Java and a passion for Ecommerce and retail are considered advantageous.
