R&D- Fabric Sourcin

Role Overview: You will be responsible for specialized procurement of fabrics in the armor business. Your role will involve sourcing, testing fabrics, and vendor development of suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Outer cover designer team by sourcing fabrics for specific needs. - Prepare a purchase list from Bill of Materials (BOM) and select the materials required for procurement. - Create order requests for purchase and communicate with suppliers for timely supply through negotiation. - Work on improving product costs by continuously enhancing the material selection of fabrics. - Develop vendors and establish strong relationships with suppliers. - Ensure timely completion of all tender and business development projects requiring procurement. - Conduct testing of new fabrics from vendors. Qualification Required: - B.Tech Graduate in Textile. - Prior experience in sourcing. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sourcing. Additional Details: Knowledge and Skills Required: - Vendor development skill. - Knowledge of NAV. - Good negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office.,
