R&D Engineer Simulations (FEA)

You should have a Bachelors or Masters degree from a reputable institution with good academic standing. The ideal candidate for this position should have 0 to 3 years of experience. MGT is currently looking for a dedicated engineer to join our R&D team. As an R&D engineer specializing in finite element analysis (FEA), your responsibilities will include: Generating FEA/simulation models of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Analyzing static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical behavior under various operating conditions. Collaborating with the design team to enhance and optimize designs of current and future products based on FEA analysis. Proposing and implementing equipment characterization and test procedures to validate model results and assist in modeling efforts. Maintaining consistent modeling practices and contributing to the enhancement of simulation best practices within the organization. Assisting in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting technical challenges in conjunction with team members. Showing enthusiasm for learning simulation best practices from industry and academia and integrating them into your work. Contributing to the development of precision manufacturing machinery in India by engaging closely with other engineers. Requirements for this role include: Proficiency in the use of standard FEA software (such as Ansys, Altair, Abaqus, etc.) and understanding of FEA workflows. Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, mechanics of materials, numerical methods, and engineering design. Experience with any CAD package for 3D design. Previous experience with CAD and FEA software tools. Practical experience in static, dynamic, and thermal-mechanical simulations on industrial or research problems. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to different audiences. A collaborative mindset to work with internal and external stakeholders in a high-paced environment to meet project milestones and deadlines. This position is located in Bangalore.,
