R&D Designer

About Us: At Tesor Designs Pvt. Ltd., we are an innovative interior design company in search of an R&D Designer who will be responsible for researching and developing new materials for finishes in our factory. As an R&D Designer, your primary focus will be on discovering new design trends, exploring the availability of innovative materials, and identifying sustainable, durable, and visually appealing materials for interior design applications. Job Location: You will be based at Tesor Designs Pvt. Ltd."s factory located at New Sy No. 14/2, Kalkere Village, KrishnaRajapuram, Hobli, Bengaluru East, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560043. Key Responsibilities: - Research and source new materials suitable for interior design finishes. - Conduct tests to assess material performance, durability, and aesthetics. - Collaborate closely with design and production teams to evaluate the suitability of materials for various applications. - Keep abreast of the latest design trends and developments in sustainable material innovations. - Develop material specifications and create prototypes for testing purposes. - Prepare and deliver presentations to management, outlining your findings and material recommendations. Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Materials Science, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Interior Design or Architecture. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in material research or interior design. - Knowledge of sustainable materials and proficiency in identifying current design trends. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Suite would be advantageous.,
