Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Logistics Manager to oversee and streamline our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field logistics, with proven expertise in onboarding local transporters and vehicle owners, Transport Unions, managing daily logistics activities, and controlling costs. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and onboard local transporters, transport unions and vehicle owners to ensure reliable transportation support.(Tippers, Hyva) Oversee daily logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and route management. Manage mileage and fuel costs, ensuring cost-efficiency and budget adherence. Prepare detailed cost analysis reports to monitor expenses and identify areas for optimization. Generate MIS reports related to logistics activities, costs, and transporter performance. Liaise effectively with field teams, transporters, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety standards, transportation policies, and local regulations. Continuously improve logistics processes for efficiency and reliability. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in logistics and transporter management. Proven field logistics experience, particularly in transporter onboarding and operations. Strong understanding of transportation costs, fuel management, and route planning. Excellent analytical and report-generation skills. Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English. Local candidate from the said location only can apply. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Candidate Profile: Field-oriented, proactive, and detail-oriented. Ability to build and maintain good relationships with local transporters. Results-driven with a focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency. Note: Candidate who is working in Power plants or Steel Industry dealing with raw material logistics activities or candidate who is working with a logistic company and managing these power plants or steel plant only can apply This is a site based job which will be near the Thermal Power plants (which will be a remote area) Should have experience in identifying the local tipper owners individually by going to the site. Must have good Database of vehicle owners. Responsibilities: Support BCA Supplier Quality (SQ) Organizations readiness and sustainment team in prevention” activities. Support Regional Sustainment SQ team in planning and conducting reviews on Suppliers’ First Article Inspection to ensure Suppliers have robust Initial Product and Production System Validation process. Collaborate with Regional Sustainment SQ team in laying out Early Quality Engagement prevention activities Plans and conducts prevention assessment such as Requirement Consumption Review (RCR). Be pro-actively engaged with current and new suppliers to ensure First Time Quality (FTQ). Ensures suppliers have proper process in place to assess and mitigate/eliminate quality risks associated with Work Transfer movements Support supplier's Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process development and monitor deliverables completion. Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work. Documents and reports audit and assessment results in coordination with Regional SQR for any assessments performed Ensures supplier notifications of quality escapes are processed as required; evaluates supplier Root Cause Analysis and proposed corrective action plans (RCCA) where these affect part numbers subject to IPPSV control. Partner with Sustainment and Recovery SQ team in deploying previous lessons learned into new work statements. Provides supplier education and coaching on APQP, technical expertise, company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity. Monitors quality improvement initiatives at supplier; develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity. Report supplier's quality risks and opportunities to leadership. This role may require frequent domestic and international travel. Basic Qualifications (Required Experience/Education/Skill): Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace OR Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and typically a minimum of 7 years or more related work experience, or a Master’s degree in Aerospace OR Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Aerospace audit and quality assessments experience. Working comprehension of the requirements of AS9100. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Strong supplier quality development background. Strong understanding of root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation of acceptable preventative action. Knowledge of supplier quality system requirements, along with extensive process auditing experience. Fluent in English in spoken and written. Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Skills): Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as APQP, FMEA, and control plans, SPC, FAI, and RCCA. Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145. Lean or lean six sigma experience (leading or co-leading teams with value stream mapping and shop floor standard work events). Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices and processes. Experience developing supplier improvement plans and strategies, providing training, and coaching.
