Role & responsibilities : Oversee execution of civil works at NTPC Patratu site including cooling tanks, storage sheds , and other related RCC and structural works Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly work plans in coordination with the planning team Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications Supervise and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors Ensure proper layout, leveling, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and curing Liaise with BHEL site engineers , consultants, and internal project managers for approvals, inspections, and issue resolution Maintain all site documentation , including DPRs, RA bills, measurement books, and material records Coordinate and support MEP services where overlapping with civil scope Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards as per PSU guidelines Assist in material planning, reconciliation , and timely procurement follow-ups Review and monitor project progress , highlight risks or delays, and suggest corrective actions Conduct regular site meetings, report progress to HO, and ensure client satisfaction Preferred candidate profile B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering 10+ years of experience in civil construction, including industrial/infra projects (cooling tanks, machine foundations, sheds, tanks, etc.) Hands-on experience with PSU projects like BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, or similar will be preferred Sound knowledge of pile/RCC work , bar bending schedules, BOQs, and QA/QC processes Proficient in reading structural and architectural drawings Basic working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD (viewing), and email communication Strong leadership and contractor/vendor management skills Willing to work full-time on-site in Jharkhand
