The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product requirements and manufacturing processes related to turbine components such as blades, rotor shafts, diaphragms, nozzles, and others. Additionally, expertise in turbine component inspection and testing, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and familiarity with supplier and product qualification processes are essential. Key responsibilities include leading the lessons learned process to prevent recurrence, ensuring on-time inspection of components for factory and site, managing non-conformance reports (NCR), driving root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving to prevent reoccurrence, participating in lean initiatives for process quality, operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and fostering a collaborative working environment within a cross-functional team. The successful candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant experience, possess knowledge of internal auditing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001, have hands-on experience in turbine components manufacturing and testing, be proficient in Microsoft tools, have a basic understanding of quality control tools, demonstrate collaborative decision-making skills, and exhibit expertise in NCR management and lessons learned processes.
