Job Description Role Project Engineer Span Central Function Projects Job Family Executive Reporting to (position) Manager/DGM - Projects Direct Reportees(position) - Purpose Statement Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within the scope and budget ,provide technical support and expertise required by other team members in the project Key Role & Responsibilities - Execute the entire project based on the activities done in planning & detailing phase - Monitor & analyse the current project implementation procedure by relevant studies of activities done during detailing phase - Prepare execution plan as per detailing at site and coordinate with internal resources and external vendors for the smooth execution of project - Ensure the delivery of the project within the scope, timeline, and budget - Inspect the project equipments received at site to ensure that they are matching with the standard parameters as defined in purchase orders during planning phase - In-charge of safety at site for project execution, follow & implement site HSE rules and housekeeping standards to maintain safe and clean work environment - Conduct JSA (Job Safety Analysis) before initiating any work and issue permits accordingly Participate in RCA(Root Cause Analysis) as and when required for any deviation - Ensure that the equipment is installed as per standard specifications - Conduct PSSR (Pre Startup Safety Review) before the start-up of the plant and comply with the findings raised in PSSR if any - Conduct product startup trails of plant as final chemical run to confirm the performance as per parameters Handover of plant to the production in charge Function / Agency Purpose of Interaction Frequency Vendors To ensure the timely delivery of the key equipments required for project Weekly Mechanical, Production, Civil, E&I To identify various specifications & parameters required for installation & commissioning of the plant Daily Job specification Experience 3-6 Years Qualification BE Mechanical or chemical Certifications/Trainings Competencies Behavioural Functional
