RBI Engineer

As a Technical discipline professional, you will be responsible for supporting the development of Fixed Equipment Asset Strategies within Chevron's Manufacturing Business Units. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments such as Fixed Equipment Reliability, Integrity, Technical, Maintenance, Operations, and local Business Unit Management across all Manufacturing facilities. Your key responsibilities will include providing technical support to the Fixed Equipment Integrity Department ensuring safe and reliable operation of fixed equipment at Chevron's Pascagoula Refinery. You will report to the Fixed Equipment Integrity Technical Team Lead and commit to a minimum 24-month assignment. While not primarily responsible for supervising personnel, you may supervise special projects or circumstances. Your primary duties will involve developing and executing asset strategies for fixed equipment, utilizing Quantitative and Qualitative Risk Based Inspection methodology software, providing expertise on mechanical design review, and equipment replacement and repair strategies to enhance integrity and reliability at optimal cost. Collaboration with peers across Manufacturing to improve and standardize mechanical integrity processes is essential. Your responsibilities may include providing engineering consulting, leading the development of pressure vessel asset strategies, participating in planning plant turnarounds and capital projects, working with the Inspection team on inspection scope and repair options, and analyzing data for equipment reliability plans. Collaborative work with FEI personnel from other Chevron refineries to drive consistency in Mechanical Integrity processes is crucial. You are required to have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in providing fixed equipment integrity support in a complex oil and gas operating environment, with experience in a leadership position being preferred. Additional qualifications such as RBI experience, On-stream-inspection experience, Turnaround inspection experience, and familiarity with supporting Operations in the Refining industry are desirable. Chevron ENGINE operates globally, aligning work hours to support business requirements. The standard work week is Monday to Friday, with working hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM or 1:30PM to 10:30PM.
