About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Account Executive to manage a wide range of daily and monthly accounting activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of transactions and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, particularly in relation to TDS and GST. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and excellent proficiency in relevant accounting software. Key Responsibilities The Account Executive will be responsible for the full cycle of day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to: Statutory Compliance & Reporting: GST (Goods and Services Tax): Preparation, reconciliation, and timely filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Ensuring correct input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B data. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source): Calculation, deduction, deposit, and timely filing of quarterly TDS returns (e.g., Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.). Issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16A/16). Bank & Cash Management: Performing accurate and timely bank reconciliation (B.R.S.) for multiple bank accounts. Managing and recording all daily cash and bank transactions. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and managing vendor payments. Generation and processing of Credit Notes and Debit Notes for sales returns, purchase adjustments, and other relevant scenarios. Regular monitoring and follow-up on Accounts Receivable. General Ledger & Finalization Support: Maintenance of the general ledger, journal entries, and trial balance. Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures. Handling petty cash and expense report management. Audit Support: Providing necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits. ✅ Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Experience: 2 years of proven experience in an all-round accounting role, specifically handling TDS and GST compliance. Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in accounting software BUSY. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, functions). In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS). Core Competencies: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle busy deadlines.
