Role Description The Business Development Executive (Export) is responsible for driving international sales and expanding the company’s global footprint. This role involves identifying export opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with overseas clients, and ensuring smooth execution of export processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Research & Analysis • Identify potential international markets and customers for export. • Conduct market analysis to understand demand, competition, and regulatory requirements. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management • Generate leads and convert them into export clients. • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners. • Address client queries and ensure excellent customer service. 3. Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. • Negotiate terms of sales, pricing, and contracts with overseas clients. 4. Documentation & Compliance • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping documents, letters of credit). • Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies for smooth export operations. 5. Coordination with Internal Teams • Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. • Provide market feedback to improve products and services. 6. Reporting & Performance Tracking • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
