1. Position Summary The Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating new leads, conducting on-site sales presentations, and closing deals for our residential and commercial Photovoltaic (PV) installation projects. This role is the front line for promoting clean energy adoption and requires deep market knowledge, excellent persuasion skills, and a results-driven mindset. 2. Core Responsibilities The Field Sales Executive will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure: Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and target potential clients (homeowners, SMEs, and commercial entities) for solar rooftop and ground-mounted solutions. On-Site Consulting: Schedule and conduct physical site visits to perform initial solar feasibility assessments and gather specific client energy requirements. Custom Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear, persuasive technical proposals and financial analyses (including ROI, payback periods, and subsidy details). Sales & Negotiation: Lead all commercial negotiations and skillfully close sales contracts to meet and exceed ambitious monthly and quarterly revenue targets. CRM & Reporting: Maintain a disciplined pipeline using CRM software, accurately forecasting sales and providing weekly progress reports to the Director. Client Relations: Foster strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure a smooth handoff to the Operations/EPC team and secure referral business. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on local regulatory changes, government incentives, and competitor offerings within the Indian solar market. 3.
