Position: Sales Manager – Steel Industry Location: Chennai Experience Required : Minimum 3+ years in steel sales/management Availability : Immediate joiners preferred Key Responsibilities Create and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client base and increase market share.​ Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.​ Develop and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.​ Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.​ Oversee sales activities, including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, order closure, and execution.​ Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to present to management.​ Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution and timely delivery.​ Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and credit guidelines.​ Represent the company brand at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.​ Preferred Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, ideally within the steel trading, fabrication, or manufacturing sectors.​ Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and successfully managing sales teams.​ Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Tamil; Hindi proficiency is an advantage.​ Ability to build strong dealer and distributor networks and penetrate new market segments.​ Degree/MBA in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.​ Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and business reporting.
