You are a QA Engineer or Senior QA Engineer with 3 to 12 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B). As part of Brudhu Technology Solutions, you will collaborate with Oracle Corporation in Hyderabad to conduct end-to-end testing of enterprise-level utility applications based on the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). Your responsibilities include performing functional, integration, system, and regression testing on Oracle Utilities CC&B applications. You will extensively utilize the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) for UI and business rule validation. Additionally, you will create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and data aligned with business requirements. You will also be involved in testing feature enhancements, production issues, and change requests in SIT and UAT environments, including rate configuration, batch testing, and outbound file validation. Collaboration with functional and technical teams is essential to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will conduct production parallel, smoke, and sanity testing as needed, as well as root cause analysis and defect resolution support with development teams. Tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar will be used for test management and defect tracking. SQL-based validations and log reviews using Linux commands are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech), Computer Applications (MCA), or Science (B.Sc) and have a solid understanding of SDLC and STLC principles. QA/Oracle Utilities certifications are considered a plus. Your required skills include strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B and OUAF, proficiency in test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle management, as well as experience in billing logic, rate testing, and data validations using SQL. Familiarity with SIT/UAT, batch processing, and business rule verification is also necessary. Preferred skills for this role include experience with Oracle Utilities MDM, NMS, and integration between CC&B and other Oracle modules, knowledge of OUAF extensibility, web services, and data flows, as well as exposure to Control-M and Linux environments for log analysis and batch monitoring.
