Heavy & Bulky Logistics We are seeking a high-ownership Senior BD Manager to acquire and manage clients across the furniture, appliances, mattresses, fitness equipment, industrial equipment, and other high-value bulky goods categories. This leader will open new verticals, build enterprise relationships, and drive revenue growth for last-mile delivery and operational optimization solutions. Responsibilities New Client Acquisition • Identify and onboard brands dealing in Furniture, Appliances, Mattresses, Fitness Equipment, Home Interiors, Industrial B2B supplies, etc. • Build a targeted pipeline of 20–30 priority brands in each region. • Pitch last-mile delivery optimization and address-intelligence–based solutions to CXOs, ops heads, and supply chain leaders. • Lead proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations. Enterprise Relationship Management • Own client relationships end-to-end: onboarding, SLA agreements, performance reviews. • Serve as the primary point of escalation for enterprise accounts. • Maintain high customer NPS through strong communication and continuous process improvements. Market & Competition Intelligence • Map the heavy & bulky logistics landscape and track major players such as Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, IKEA, Wakefit, Duroflex, leading appliance brands, fitness equipment brands, and industrial distributors. • Analyze operational workflows and propose optimization strategies. Revenue & Growth • Deliver quarterly revenue targets for heavy & bulky logistics verticals. • Work closely with product and operations teams to design workflows for bulky deliveries: two-man delivery, installation, assembly, quality checks, and RTO reduction. • Articulate value propositions such as route optimization, vehicle utilization, address accuracy, cost reduction, and SLA improvement. Required Skills & Experience • 5–10 years of experience in B2B Sales, Enterprise BD, Logistics, or 3PL. • Proven network in furniture, appliances, mattresses, fitness equipment, or industrial supply chains. • Strong communication, negotiation, and enterprise deal-closing skills. • Understanding of last-mile operations (delivery, installation, assembly, reverse logistics). • Ability to work independently and build a vertical from the ground up. Preferred Background • Experience in firms such as Delhivery, Blowhorn, Porter, Ecom Express, Shadowfax, Xpressbees, Gati, BlueDart, or bulky-goods specialists. • Previous sales experience with brands like IKEA, Pepperfry, Urban Ladder, Wakefit, Duroflex, HomeTown, The Sleep Company, Furlenco, Flexnest, etc. • Familiarity with logistics tech, routing engines, or optimization tools (preferred but not mandatory).
