Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to drive Solar EPC project sales across Kolkata and West Bengal. This role involves lead generation, client engagement, proposal coordination, and sales closure —with strong support from our technical and design teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales Identify and develop new prospects across C&I, MSME, and commercial sectors. Conduct market research to understand customer pain points and solar feasibility. Generate and qualify leads via meetings, networking, digital outreach, and field visits. Present company offerings, proposals, and solutions confidently to clients. Convert qualified leads into profitable business deals. 2. Client Engagement Understand client requirements and coordinate with engineering/design team for proposals. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business. Lead site visits and coordinate project feasibility assessments. 3. Proposal & Coordination Support in preparing quotations, presentations, and commercial proposals. Coordinate internally with the technical and project management teams. Assist in documentation for government policies, subsidies, DISCOM approvals, etc. 4. Reporting & Strategy Maintain sales pipeline and update CRM/lead tracker regularly. Provide regular business forecasts and competitor insights. Support management in strategic planning and brand positioning. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 0–3 years experience (Freshers / career restarters are welcome). Prior solar/renewable industry experience is an advantage. Skills: Strong communication & presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and negotiate confidently. Awareness of solar industry OR willingness to learn quickly. Self-motivated and target-driven.
