Job Location Kharadi, Pune — On-site role Employment Type Full-time, Permanent Experience Required 2 to 4+ years of experience in inventory / store / inward / retail operations — preferably in jewellery, luxury goods, or high-value inventory environments. Educational Qualification Minimum: Higher Secondary / +2 / Diploma Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (Commerce / Business / Retail / similar) Key Responsibilities Receive incoming goods (jewellery, materials, parts) from vendors / suppliers. Verify them against purchase orders / invoices, check quality & quantity. Generate and affix barcode / serial / identification labels; maintain the barcode master database. Record inbound stock in the inventory / ERP / POS / backend software systems correctly and promptly. Manage internal stock transfers: between counters, from safe to display, inter-branch movements. Conduct periodic stock reconciliation: compare physical stock counts with software balances, identify variances, investigate causes, recommend or post adjustments. Track internal stock categories: raw materials, gemstones, unfinished goods, finished goods; manage issuance, return, scrap, usage. Assist the purchase / procurement team: verify delivered items, help reconcile missing / short / excess items, coordinate with vendors. Make accounting entries relating to stock, purchases, transfers, adjustments, write-offs in the software / ERP / accounts module. Generate reports and MIS: daily / weekly / monthly stock movement reports, closing stock reports, discrepancy / variance reports, slow / non-moving item reports. Maintain clear documentation: GRNs, transfer memos, adjustment forms, audit trails. Ensure compliance with internal processes, support internal / external audits, and maintain data integrity. Liaise with store staff, accounts team, and senior management to ensure smooth inventory operations and timely issue resolution. Required Skills & Competencies Hands-on experience with inventory / ERP / accounting / POS software (for recording stock, transfers, adjustments) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) Strong analytical and investigative skills to trace discrepancies and resolve them High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and coordination skills Trustworthiness, integrity, and reliability (given the high-value inventory handled) Organized, methodical, ability to prioritize and multitask Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, cost valuation) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
