As a Sales Officer (SO) or Senior Sales Officer (SSO), your primary responsibility will be to handle primary sales by appointing new dealers in your assigned area. You will be required to formulate product-wise monthly sales and collection plans, ensuring value growth while adhering to specified discount and credit norms set by the Company. Your role will involve billing to an adequate number of accounts, implementing range selling strategies, and ensuring all accounts are operating at optimum capacity. Moreover, you will need to implement town-specific demand generation activities to enhance brand preference among influencers and consumers. You should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in FMCG GT Sales, distribution management, and people management, including handling 6-8 salesmen or sales reps. Your background should include working in large markets with range selling experience. A career gap is not preferable. For this role, you need to have a regular graduation degree, not from correspondence or Distance education. A post-graduation degree is not mandatory. Your responsibilities will include: - Achieving Sales Targets (Primary and Secondary) for the assigned territory - Managing distributors and ensuring retail coverage as per beat plan - Adhering to PJP for market visits and utilizing defined system apps for order capturing - Driving all schemes effectively in the market - Attending to customer queries promptly - Submitting and settling distributor claims on time - Ensuring visibility/displays in the market as per plan - Monitoring competition activities and reporting them - Launching new products in the market - Managing stock at the distributor level - Identifying new distributors in towns to fill coverage gaps - Training distributors and their staff on product knowledge - Visiting Specifiers/Influencers to promote products and oversee merchandising activities like displays, free samples, demonstrations, shelf spaces, and special offers This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
