As a Technical Sales Specialist for Cognitive Network Solutions (CNS) in the Global PreSales Center - Bid Office Organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and domain knowledge during the sales cycle for solutions related to the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and rApps. Your primary role will involve closely collaborating with Sales, Product, and engineering teams to demonstrate technical feasibility and ensure that proposed solutions align with customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing high-quality responses for RFx/tenders within specified timelines. - Developing solution architectures and responding to RFPs/RFIs for rApp-based offerings. - Supporting pre-sales RFX deliverables such as Statement of Compliance (SoC), Dimensioning, HW-SW configuration in ECP/ACS, Solution description, and services estimates. - Aligning solution and proposals strategy and providing support to Customer Units (CUs). - Engaging with customer units during RFX to understand their business and technical needs related to RAN optimization and automation. - Articulating the technical capabilities and business benefits of rApps. - Creating technical documentation, including solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and integration plans. - Collaborating with cross SA (NM)/BA (BNEW) to tailor rApp solutions based on customer requirements. - Working with product management to influence the rApp product roadmap based on market feedback. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Good understanding of the sales process. - Knowledge of Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) and Non-RT RIC. - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and APIs used in rApp development. - Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, OSS/BSS integration, and RAN analytics. - Deep knowledge of O-RAN specifications, RIC architecture, and the rApp ecosystem. - Awareness of industry trends in 5G, AI/ML for RAN, and O-RAN Alliance developments. Preferred Certifications (Optional): - O-RAN Alliance training/certification. - TM Forum or similar telecom standards certifications. - Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure) are a plus.,
