Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, data entry, and filing. Support in preparation of financial statements and reports. Work on reconciliation of bank statements, invoices, and vendor accounts. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related work. Help prepare working papers and schedules for audits and tax filings. Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting transactions. Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by senior staff.
